Ada Luong

Associate Researcher

Ada is an undergraduate computer science and law student at the University of New South Wales. She joined Gradient Institute as a Summer Scholar at the end of her second year of university and now works with the team on projects, research, and training activities as an Associate Research Engineer.

Her interest in computing started when she accidentally stumbled into programming in late high school. She was captivated by its potential as a tool and framework for creativity and wanted to learn how to build technology to explore and solve problems.

For as long as she has been a computer science student, Ada has also been extensively involved with computer science education and outreach. She currently works for the UNSW School of Computer Science and Engineering where she has taught and developed course materials for the introductory programming and extended security engineering courses.
